Independent Software Lab

Software built with focus, not noise.

Human capability

Technology should expand what people can do.

The best tools remove friction between an idea and its useful expression — making room for thought, craft, and discovery.

Internauticos is the independent lab of Oscar Gomez — live products, open-source experiments, and selected collaborations in applied AI, systems security, and production web tools.

What the lab works on

Three fields, one standard.

The lab concentrates where careful engineering makes the biggest difference.

Applied AI

Practical AI that ships: retrieval, automation, and models working quietly inside real products — not demos.

Systems Security

Secure defaults and resilient architecture by habit — an active participant of the Allianz für Cyber-Sicherheit.

Production Web Tools

Fast, maintainable web applications built with modern stacks and deployed to real users, not prototypes.

Working together

Collaboration, by design selective.

Internauticos is run alongside full-time engineering work, so time is deliberately limited. That constraint is a feature: fewer projects, deeper focus, and honest timelines instead of agency theater.

Async-first

Feedback and decisions in writing, on your schedule. Progress without a calendar full of calls.

Selective projects

A small number of engagements at a time, so each project gets full attention and real craft.

Technical exchange

Open to exchange with AI and security peers — reviews, discussions, and research in the open.

Questions

Things you might be wondering.

It comes from Spanish: "internautas" (people who navigate the internet) combined with "astronautas" (astronauts) — internet astronauts. In Spanish, "náutico" relates to navigation, so Internauticos are explorers of the digital space: curious, careful, and always heading somewhere new.

An independent software lab run by Oscar Gomez, alongside full-time engineering work. It is where live products like SpeisekarteX and SEOManager AI, open-source experiments, and selected client projects are built.

Yes — but selectively. Time is limited, so only a small number of projects and clients are taken on at once. Each engagement gets real attention instead of being one of many.

Asynchronous by default: clear briefs, written updates, and steady progress without meeting overhead. Kick-off and milestones are coordinated over email, and you always know where things stand.

Modern, maintainable stacks — usually TypeScript, React-based frameworks, and reliable hosting, with AI and security practice where it adds real value. The toolset is chosen for the project, not the other way around.

Use one of the message buttons on this page and describe your project or idea. If it is a fit for the lab's focus and current capacity, you will hear back within a few days — otherwise, honestly, you will hear that too.

Let's build something focused.
